How to replace a SSL Certificate?

In some cases it may prevent that you have to re-install your SSL Certificate. For example in the case of a server crash or relocation. But how does this work?

If you already had made a back up or can make it by export the private key and certificate, use them to reinstall the certificate. Otherwise Networking4all offers the possibility to re-generate the certificate.

All SSL Certificates (except the cheap Lite version) have a free replacement guarantee and can therefore be replaced. And the operations can be done by yourself. And that 24 hours a day, seven days a week. How? All in your own account on the website of Networking4all.

You log into your account and go to SSL Certificates. There you will find your own certificates. Behind 'SSL Certificate issued' you'll see three icons. The first one is to replace a certificate.

Next, past a new Certificate Signing Request (CSR) in the text box.

A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you selected. After approval of this email, the new SSL Certificate will be mailed to you. The new SSL Certificate can also be downloaded from the website.
