Technical issues
Technical related questions and answers are listed below. Check our general FAQ page if you can't find the right information here.
I get the warning "The Page cannot be displayed"
Generally the cause of this warning is the Firewall who blocks port 443. The only solution is to check your firewall documentation and set port 443 to open.
Is it possible to install the SSL Certificate on another server?
Yes that is possible, provided that you have a backup of your private key. In Microsoft Windows it is possilbe to export your key through the Microsoft Management Console (MMC). If you do not have a backup of your private key we have to replace your certificate. For a replacement you have to generate a new Certificate Signing Request (CSR). Send the new CSR and your previous order number to our Sales Department sales@networking4all.com.
How do I download the Root Certificate?
The root certificate is normally included with your SSL certificate. However it is possible to download/export the root certificate by following this procedure.
- Open the zip file we send you
- Double click the SSL Certificate
- Go to tab [Certificate path]
- Double click the top (Equifax) certificate
- Go to tab [Details]
- Click [Copy to file]
- [Next]
- Base64 encoded X.509 (*.CER) [Next]
- [Next]
- Enter a file name [Next]
- [Complete]
You have exported your root certificate which in turn you can import on your device or appliance.
