If you know what product you wish to order, visit the product page. Click on the Buy now button to start the order process. Now you'll see the page where you can choose how many years you want to have a certificate. In our example we choose for a GlobalSign DomainSSL Certificate. Choose how many years you want to capture the certificate. Then click Next.

Step 1 of 7:

You have reached the page where the certificate can be installed on multiple servers. The default option is no additional license. Select the number of licenses you wish to purchase and click Next (the default is always one license).

2. Certificate Signing Request (CSR)

Right now, you are on the page where you have to add the Certificate Signing Request (CSR). This CSR must be created on the server where the certificate will be installed. Copy the entire text and insert it into the empty text field. Then click Next.

Note: When creating a CSR, it is essential that your business name matches the name in the trade register, including the corporate body. In the case of Networking4all this is Networking4all B.V.

What is a CSR?

A CSR is a text file that contains information for applying your license. This is always created on the computer where your website is running, so called the web server. This text is a requirement to apply an SSL Certificate and contains a unique code that corresponds to the system when it is applied. This is why the SSL Certificate can be only used on your website and just on your web server.

Creating a CSR is entirely dependent on the software on your web server. If you do not manage your own web server you should ask the provider or administrator of your web server for a CSR to request an SSL Certificate.

3. The registration form

Now you have to register as a customer at Networking4all once. As a new customer use the registration form. Once you have filled out everything completely and correctly, click Next. You will see this form:

Company: *	Check company
Company name:	Enter your company name exactly as it is officially registered (conform KvK in NL).
Title:	Optional field. Your salutation. Dr., Mrs, Mr. Etc.
Initials: *	Enter your initials, according your official ID or passport.
First name: *	Enter your first name, according your official ID or passport.
Insertion:	Optional field. Only use when appropriate, for instance 'de', 'van de' etc.
Surname: *	Enter your last name, according your ID or passport.
Sex: *	Check Man or Women to indicate your gender.
Address: *	Enter the official address of your company, exactly conform KvK registration.
Postal Code: *	Enter the official postal code of your company's address.
City: *	Enter the city in which your company is officially registered.
Province: *	Enter the province in which your company in officially registered.
Country: *	Enter the country in which your company is officially registered.
Telephone no: *	Enter the official telephone number of your company in the format:    Country code (+31 for the Netherlands or +44 for the UK)    Area code (20 for Amsterdam or 30 for Utrecht)    Subscriber number (4567890).
Mobile no:	Optional field. Enter your mobile number in the same format as above.
Fax no:	Optional field. Enter your fax number in the same format as above.
E-mail: *	Enter your e-mail address. Check twice for errors,    On this e-mail address you will get an e-mail to confirm your registration.
Website:	Optional field. Enter the URL of your website, for instance www.mycompany.nl.
VAT Number:	Optional field for your tax registration number (VAT/BTW).

4. Company name and select a contact person

Select the contact persons for the Owner, the Admin contact (primary contact person) and the technical contact.

Domain Name validated SSL Certificate (DV)

If you ordered a Domain Name validated SSL Certificate you should now select an approver e-mail. Select an valid email address and what you can reach. There you will see the email with the confirmed request. This is to validate that you are the owner and/or administrator of this domain name.

Organization validated SSL Certificate (OV)

If you choose for an Organization validated SSL Certificate you won't get this choice. In that case we will validate the company (the applicant for the certificate) by using data from the Dutch Kamer van Koophandel, telephone information, Dun & Bradstreet, et cetera.

In the box Your reference (optional) you can enter a reference number that you want to use at this application. This number will be used as reference number on the invoice. Then click Next.

Step 5 of 7:

Whois Address

Whois (read as "who is") is a database of email addresses and domain names. Using the WHOIS you can find the owner of a website. Besides the fixed addresses that you'll see above, we can also validate on the email address in the Whois. If possible, we'll place it in the list above. If this one is not mentioned, please contact our sales department.

5. Order details

Right now you'll see the summary page of your order. If you want to add another product, click the Add button. Do you have a Coupon code? Drop it in the text box. Are you satisfied with the current application and your details are correct? Click Next.

6. Payment method and download quote

Finally, select your payment method. As an example we choose the option Request a Quote. When you have selected the correct option, click Continue.

Step 7 of 7:

After obtaining your quotation you are ready. On the next page you can download your quote. This one is also sent by email to you. The confirmation:

Pay on account

If you return the signed quotation (by mail/fax/email), we can process the order immediately. After obtaining the SSL Certificate you'll get an e-mail with the invoice which you pay within 14 days through one of our bank accounts.

 

NOTE: If you choose to pay online (iDeal, creditcard, etc.), after paying the system will return to request the products. This may take several minutes. During this time, please do not use the refresh button on your browser or click on the Next button again. Wait until the payment is completed.
