Installation of a certificate for NetscreenOS

You received 3 certificate files by e-mail:

  1. the Local Certificate (primary certificate
  2. the CA certificate (intermediate certificate
  3. the CRL certificate (root certificate)

Installation instructions

  1. Open the WebUI
  2. From the Options menu > click Objects > Certificates
  3. Installation
    • Local Certificate:
      > at the Show drop-down menu, > click / select Local
      > Browse to the location where you stored the Local Certificate (domainname.crt) and click > Load
    • CA Certificate:
      > at the Show drop-down menu, > click / select CA
      > Browse to the location where you stored the Intermediate Certificate and click  > Load
    • CR Certificate:
      > at the Show drop-down menu, > click / select CR
      > Browse to the location where you stored the Root Certificate and click > Load 
Make sure the Local Certificate is registered as Type Local and the other two certificates as type CA. If this is not the case then it is most likely someting went wrong with the domain name field, you wil have to generate a new CSR and request a new certificate.
