Generating a CSR on a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010
How to create a CSR in Exchange 2010?
Step 1
Start de Exchange Managment Console (Start > All Programs > Microsoft Exchange 2010 > Exchange Management Console).
Step 2
Expand Microsoft Exchange On-Premises, Click on "Server Configuration" on the left side, and click on "New Exchange Certificate" on the right side.

Step 3
The Wizard will start now. Fill in a friendly name. This is only to remember your certificate. Click Next.

Step 4
If you dont use a wildcard certificate you can skip this step. Click Next.

Step 5
Select the options you are using for your Exchange server. Click Next.

Step 6
This is just a example but you should now have something like this:

Fill in your organization information. For organization validated certificates use the exact name as in the trade register and also make sure the Whois information is also correct.

Step 8
Check if all information is correct, and click on New. The system is generating your CSR request. Once done click on finish.

There is now a file generated on the location you have given. Open this file with your favorite editor and copy all text including begin and end row.
