FAQ Statistics
How often are the statistics updated?
Every night between 00:00 and 02:00 am the statistics are generated/updated. Do you miss a few days? Then its possible that the pages are cached locally. Please use F5 or right mouse button (and then choose to renew), then the very last pages are retrieved. Do you still miss some days, please contact us.
What are unique visitors?
Each time an application is made to the server from a given IP address, the amount of time since a previous application is calculated (if there was a request). If the time difference is bigger than a preset 'visit timeout' value (or never has made a request), it's considered as a new visitor and the total is increased (both for the site as the IP address). The default timeout value is 30 minutes, so if a user visits your site at 2:00 pm and again at 6:00 pm, two "visits" are recorded.
I have differences with counters as Nedstat or Topstat?
Usually, your counter is on the first page of your website. If visitors come via a search engine on a part of your website it will not be counted by an external counter. The webserver will register these visitors. The web server also records all visitors, including robots (programs) of search engines who index your site or such monitoring programs that track your site if it is still online.
Can I screen my stats?
Yes you can, then you need to create two files: .htaccess and a .htpasswd file. You need to drop this in the directory /admin/usage/
