Adjust Thunderbird 3 Email Client
Thunderbird is a free, open-source and cross-platform mail client for most operating systems including Windows, Linux and Macintosh. It is based on the Mozilla code base. It is robust and easy to use, eg Outlook Express, but with some major advantages such as junk mail filters.
With Thunderbird it is also possible to create multiple email accounts. In this manual you'll be guided step by step through this procedure.
- First open Thunderbird (If you use Thunderbird for the first time, the wizard will start immediately).
- In the menu 'Tools' you select 'Account Settings'.
- Then choose to go to the 'Account actions' and select 'Add email account'.

- Fill in your name, e-mail address and password. Click 'Next'.
- Click 'Stop'.
- Once you can edit the Config, enter your user name.

Incoming mail
For POP Server
pop.networking4all.com (Change STARTTLS in SSL/TLS)
With IMAP server
imap.networking4all.com (Change STARTTLS in SSL/TLS)
Outgoing mail
The server for outgoing mail depends on the provider (Click here for a list of SMTP servers).
The one of Networking4all is smtp.networking4all.com.
The reason why you should use SSL is simple. This prevents that third parties can intercept your internet connection. So it will not be able for them to see your password or read your email messages.
- After completing the data, select retesting Configuration.

- Are both balls green then click Create Account.
- Click OK.
You can now use Thunderbird. If it does not work properly or if you have questions, please contact our sales department at 00800 1602-1603 or send an email to sales@networking4all.com.
