Changing the name of the domain holder or changing the contact details of the domain holder is called a transfer. 

Every modification to the holder data of the domain name is to be considered a transfer. Only the current holder of the domain name can initiate a transfer.

There is always a transfer in the following cases:

You are the domain holder, but you want to make changes to your name or your company details.
Login to your client account and send a request via the Control Panel to amend your registered details. In case you are not a client, please request a transfer of your domain first. After the transfer we can amend your details.

You are the domain holder and you want to transfer the domain to a new owner.
The new owner and his hosting provider need to arrange for a transfer of the domain first. After the transfer the hosting provider is able to make the changes. In case Networking4all will become the new hosting provider, request the transfer first, after the transfer the change of the domain holder will take place. So the steps are always: first - transfer the domain to the correct hosting provider, second – make changes to the details or domain holder.

You are not yet the domain holder but you have permission of the current domain holder to become the new owner.
First request the transfer of the domain, with this request you have to submit a 'Form for changing the registered holder of a .nl-domain name’ which has to be signed by the current and new domain holder.

Costs
The costs for a transfer are the same as requesting a new registration. Additional services related to the domain name are not automatically transferred. You have to terminate these services yourself or to transfer them separately. Note: transferring a domain and changing the holder of the domain are always two separate actions, except for .be and .eu domain names for which only one request is necessary.
