Many noncommercial organisations, like schools, hospitals, football clubs and foundations have registered an ".org" domain name. An ".org" domain name will be inactive if it doesn't have at least two name servers. This means that the domain name will not resolve and be usable on the internet. Once there are two name servers configured, the Inactive status will be taken off automatically, and the domain name will resolve and be usable.
