Therefore Networking4all is not able to register a ".gov.mt" domain name. Registrations directly under ".mt" are not possible. Registrations are only possible into Second-Level domains (for example ".com.mt" or "edu.mt", which are intended to serve particular sectors. If a registrant wants to register "xyz.com.mt", he or she has to declare that he or she has the right to use the name "xyz" as a full trade mark trade or as a business name in accordance with the Maltese law. Therefore the registrant has to send a copy of a valid company registration. From this statement can be concluded that the domain name has to be similar to the name of the trademark / company. |
