Registration of a .gi domain is open only to companies and/or organisations with an official address in Gibraltar. Only one .gi registration per registrant is allowed, multiple registrations on the same person or company are not allowed. The requested .gi domain name must be identical to the company name.
Registration of a .com.gi domain is appropriate for companies, institutions and/or persons that have a connection with Gibraltar. There are no special conditions for .com.gi domain names. Anybody can register a .com.gi domain name.
The org.gi subdomain is for the registration of names relating to Gibraltar organisations which do not satisfactorily 'fit' into any of the other subdomains of gi. This includes (but is not limited to) charities, trades unions, political parties, community groups, educational councils, professional institutions, etc.
