When you transfer (move) a .fr domain name, you will need the SIRET/SIREN number (i.e. the identification number of your French company). You can find this number on the French certificate of the Chamber of Commerce.

A trade name owner has to provide the official documents of trade name registration when he/she wants to register a .fr domain name. Registration must be done in name of the trade name owner. Please take into account that the trade name has to be at least 6 months old!
   
Extra information

Only companies and organisations with an official address in France that is recognised by the French public database can register a .fr domain name. French trade mark owners can also register a .fr domain name.

If you don’t have an address in France, you can use our French official address. Your .fr domain name will then be registered on our official French address.

Take into account that strict regulations are made up by the French domain manager concerning the use of own name servers for .fr domain names.
