If you want to move your ".ec" domain to Networking4all, you should contact your current registrar and request to send the Domain Authorization Code (also referred to as a authcode, Authinfo code or transfer code). This code is assigned by the registrar. Authorization Codes are the password for the domain and serve as an additional safety measure. The verification codes ensure that only the domain name owner can relocate the domain. A domain name transfer to another registrar will be transfered instant if the domain transfer is approved at the "old/current" registrar. A transfer to another holder is also possible. Therefore it's necessary that the domain name exist atleast six months and that there are no unpaid fees. However, the transfer procedure isn't quick, as original documentation is required on pre-established formats set out by the registry. These shall be send with the proof of action of a Public Notary. Registry and maintenance fees do not include the transfer costs.
